Today November 13, 2011 is the launch of a highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS game called Super Mario 3D Land. It is a platform game in the Mario series developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo for the Nintendo 3DS. The game combines elements from both classic 2D side-scrolling Mario games and modern free-roaming 3D Mario games. All Mario Kart 7 Characters Revealed - Nintendo 3DS Trailer

Nintendo has finally released a trailer with all of the characters in Mario Kart 7.  Unfortunately their is no audio in the video below but it will give you an idea of the new characters and features in the game.  Mario Kart 7 is going to be released on December 2nd in Europe and December 4th in North America.

A YouTuber that is a fan of VGH sent me this article the other day and I wanted to share it with you guys.  Until now I did not realize the process in which the 3DS creates a 3D image and found it very interesting.  Enjoy.

Messaging App Coming to Nintendo 3DS this December

In December 3DS users will be able to send messages to their other 3DS owning friends via a new app. Nintendo is calling this "Swapnote", which sounds like and resembles Flipnote Studio found on Nintendo DSiWare.  The app. will let you send 3D messages over both StreetPass and online.  It will let you hand-write messages, and also include pictures and recorded sounds.  It will be a free app. in the U.K. and will also be called Nintendo Letter Box.

Rayman 3D moves to number one spot in UK charts!

One of the Nintendo 3DS launch titles Rayman 3D has moved up to the number one spot in the UK 3DS Charts, surpasing FIFA 12 3DS.  With the highly anticipated releases of Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 in the next few months, we will most likely see a great deal of competition for the number one spot.
